What the hell!? This is silly.

I've just installed the 1.2 patch and now I can't play. I mean, I couldn't play before, it would crash out left right and centre, but now I can't even get into servers.

The reason? The game can't find the file D:\Dicecanada\xpack2\BF2\blah blah blah.

Would I be incorrect in thinking that Xpack2 is the Euroforce thingy? And that I shouldn't have those files yet anyway? So what the hell is going on?

Seems the patch I had was a bit wonky. Now it won't patch properly.

Pretty much. Same thing, although my error was concerning a different file.

And now I'm trying to patch my game again after reinstalling but that patch doesn't want to work. I either get patch failed after it sticks at 16% on Objects_clients.zip, or it simply skips Objects_client.zip altogether and does the rest. Which, while quite nice of it, is still no help in the grand scheme of things.

Have the same problem, like, whats that fu cking folder? Xpack2? geee... But it whines about some VideoConfig for me. Has anyone got any idea how to fix this crap? It worked fine just a day ago.
