LOL! I love it when the funbois get on a rant. Listen kidda when im not working as a developer / dba at 22 im busy ragging my integra, playin bf2 or showin why the missus she was right to choose me. So just cos you know about about windows xp dont start bashing on someone cos you dint read the post right. The post was about getting the patch from the guys that distributed the game :laugh:

Use the Multiplay link(s), I can get full speed from them.

Did I mention I was downloading the full 387mb hog and it only took 30 minutes. As oppose to 30 hours.

I have always used Filefront as well....been using them since 1942 bf. I have even considered grabbing their pay service just to support the site...but damn if FREE just isnt too tempting...

While not trying to excuse EA, I alway use Fileplanet if I can because I find it fast and reliable and the patches are availble on there...

I too use FilePlanet, for more than just BF2, what is it $9.00 a year, treat yourself.
You are getting angry because you want the patch NOW but you have to wait. It is free, if you wait. Or you can sign up for one of 100's of services that will provide you with the files in a timely fashion
Or you can PM me and I will let you get it off my FTP server where I stored it for all my buddies.
