Right im sick of EA...

You can bang on to me that Dice made battlefield all day long. My problem isnt with the game, my problem isnt with the patch. My problem is that I cant even get the patch.

I wait 16 min on one server to be told I am forbidden to save using a file manager... ok, I do it no different to any other download, using standard widows kit, and no file manager = where the hell would it go?

The only other servers I find are ones that I have to pay for!!! Pay!!! for a patch that I am entitled to seeing as I paid my royalties when I bought the game!

You get on EA and you get a lovely 15k transfer speed when you eventually get it to work, so to me thats a 2K line well paid for.

I appreciate the fact that the patch is new, therefore demand is high but surely if EA cant splash out for the temporary increase then they cant effectively support the game, therefore what the hell are they doing distributing it at such high volume???

I feel really let down and am extremely frustrated!

I was going to download it from EA yesterday. Didn't fancy a 30 hour wait.

I tried it today, 6 hours. But I accidentally closed it (Internet Explorer was, surprise surprise, bugging out, so I closed all the IE windows; the download was one of them.

Then I looked here, found Multiplay UK and 30 minutes later it was on my system.

While not trying to excuse EA, I alway use Fileplanet if I can because I find it fast and reliable and the patches are availble on there...

I got mine at 7mbps (took less than 10 seconds) from a public link. You just need to know where to look *cough*BF2RS*cough*.

I had no problem at all downloading from a german site last night that I believe may be listed on the mirrors on the totalbf2 front page. No wait time, 250kbps
