Thanks EA your patch has stopped my game from loading up and crashes to dekstop. Ive never seen a company have some many problems with patches before....

i also think DICE played a part in this... seeing as how they are the dev's. my patch works fine, I was playing earlier today....

haha yeah, its because they test it on one type of PC, they have a room full of the same computer.
I mean at one point, they said they were doing "public beta testing" but I dont get it. they need to actually TEST it.

This is the only problem I have had with bf2. Everything else was fine. And in splinter cell chaos thoery my game shows them thier shadowns through walls so its like a wallhack. Dunno why it does that takes away from the game.

Mine installed no problem, im just lagging to fek when online even tho my ping dont go over 20.

happens to me to but not very often. since the new patch my game loads slower now, anyone else have that problem?

If you lag and you ping is low that means your PC is to slow to handle the graphics quality you are at. Or you are running to many processes. Plus they optimized the game a little bit for the patch so the loading times should only have gone down.

Its got nothing to do with my PC, im only running how many processes now..12 so it be 13 with BF2.

Also when i was lagging i asked if n e 1 else was suffering & almost all the server responded & said yes. This has only started to happen with the new patch, also i have my FPS on screen all time, console 'renderer.drawfps 1' & i was getting 60fps when i was lagging.

for the ctd..its prob cuz u renamed ur bf2.exe file in the past...and it cant patch to something like bf21337.exe
