Patch release premature?

I’m wondering if EA didn’t intend to release the official patch yesterday but had no choice after it was leaked… It definitely seems unfinished….

It wasn't a leaked unfinished version, it was the final version to be made available at a certain time. It's was leaked only a few hours earlier instead.

Because it's a patch.

That means a company can use *us* as their guinea pig beta testers whilst making money from it.

If something goes wrong, they'll just patch it up some mroe.

Karesk, we weren't asking you, we were talking about the man who started
the thread. This patch was scheduled for today, and IS finished. So why do
you say it was released prematurely, where are your sources????

I still say the patch should have been released 6-10months from now.

This would allow for extensive testing and re-testing, and provide a chance for those "testers" to realize possible other bugs.

I see companies releasing patches 6-7 (if not longer) months after their release, and never have to re-release "hot fixes" and others. They do it properly.

All to say, I haven't played with the patch yet, but from what I've read, and I don't mean the ones complaining about it, they seem to have fixed what a bunch of the community babies wanted, and in the end, isn't that what is important? (end of sarcastic statement)

I think what he is asking is, are we going to be dissapointed with the overall wait for this patch? The last patch was released with Special Forces BETA, and it seems that this patch is for the BETA release of Euro Forces.

I liked it the way it was, I adapted. I guess we'll be adapting once again! A new game to learn!

So I'm going to start a thread saying the exact same thing so you can ask me the exact same question? Err...no. This is a forum, I can post my opinion if I want.

But really, he doesn't need any sources. The fact the damn thing is so bugged...
