1.2 performance drop

This very day I upgraded my memory from 1gb to 2gb. The game ran smooth and fast, I was very happy. Enter patch 1.2 the performance is now abissmal, I experienced significant frame rate drop, the movement is choppy. This completely ruined the game for me. WTF did they do?

Anyone else experienced performance problems?

Some have experienced problems, others have experienced increases.

I didn't really notice anything at all.

I experience low FPS when i play on LOW settings lol, move everything to medium, apart from shadows & lighting on LOW.

Yes, they DID completely ruin a once great game...kinda sad

But thats the problem. I like my everything 'high' settings and as I said it used to work just fine. Now I quit palying after 20 minutes.

A patch should not put more strain on your hardware, if anything, it should increase performance. I just wish they fix it fast... yeah right...

The first game I played, the game started out on high and worked like a dream. I was flying with no hickups, lag tree collisions that never happened on my screen, the whole old bs deal. I almost cried.

Since then its gone steadily down hill. I'm on medium now and looks like I will need to go lower yet to fly effectively.

On a side note... I could use the airplane just fine. I managed to avoid AA missiles with no use of flares everytime. Only another airplane managed to shoot me down and that after he used many missiles in a prolonged dogfight.

I got on another's tail my first missile counted by flares, out of another three only one hit and he was just turning to one side (something people claim is a 100% kill now). He died only after I got him clean from behind with no flares...

Now as long as the game works....

sorry to hear the problems some of of you are experiencing. i haven't experienced any performance change since the patch except for a slight freeze whenever i turn around upon entering a new map and spawning

It is most likely because everything is still updating and this kind of thing always happens when something new comes out for a game.
