SF what patches do i need to now that 1.2 has arrived

Im thinking about buying SF, at the moment my bf2 is patch 1.2 but if i was to install SF would i have to roll back to 1.12, install SF, install 1.2 again, then install 1.2 or is there a simpler way?

right now i cannot get SF to work at all with the patch

i cant play it AT ALL anymore, patch or not

i am trying a clean reinstall and standalone patch now to see if it works

-uninstall
-bf2
-SF
-1.2 patch

i pray this works

Bio do this, since ur BF2 version is already 1.2 just do this

- Download the full 1.2 patch
- Install BF SF
- Install FULL 1.2 patch

so i have to uninstall BF2 then do what u said rite? That will probably take a good 2 hours as patching bf2 and installing takes f*cking ages for me.

NO!

- Download FULL VERSION OF 1.2 PATCH!
- INSTALL BF2 SF EXPANSION
- THEN INSTALL THE FULL 1.2 PATCH

ok i got mine to work

yes it seems that going from SF to 1.2 with STANDALONE works

SF --> 1.12 --> 1.12 to 1.2 incremental failed for me, both with my old install AND a clean install

sry for being such a pain but just to clarify: Bf2 1.2 -> install SF -> install FULL patch 1.2
