1.2 patch dodgy??

    1.2 patch dodgy??

    please help me, i went to try out 1.2 patch and when i started bf2 and clicked a server, it sent me straight back to desktop, plz help...it only happens in multiplayer not singleplayer

          I'm having the exact same issue.

          I uninstalled BF2. Ran Computer Cleaner, Defragged HD, and Reinstalled BF2. Then installed the full version 1.2 patch.

          Game starts up ok but when I try to join a server it CTD during the map loading phase.

          I have no idea what's going on but any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
