    No Veteran Engineer Combat Badge?

    I cannot believe this. I've been trying for the past few weeks to add some verteran badges to my collection. Everything has gone smoothly until now. Battlefield 2 just refuses to let me have my Veteran Engineer Combat badge.

    First time I tried, I got 28 kills on Wake Island. Nothing came up. I had only just passed the 15H mark and I thought that the stat servers hadn't updated it, so I just logged out and stopped playing.

    A few hours later, I checked BFHQ and my engineer time was clearly above 15H. I played Wake Island and I got a score of 24 kills. Still no badge? That made me angry. I thought it was a bug so I decided not to try again until the 1.2 patch came out.

    Okay, then the 1.2 patch comes out. I fire up Battlefield 2 and get a score of 20 on Wake Island. Still nothing. That just frustrated me beyond repair.

    So what gives? I'm at 17H in global hours as an engineer, and I've always made sure that I was playing engineer while I was getting the kills. Hell, I've always made sure that I was playing engineer, PERIOD. I don't understand why I haven't got the badge yet. It seems pointless to try again before I know what's going on.

      Veteran Badges:

      * play 15 hours first
      * get the #kills required for that particular badge.

          play again on a RANKED server, make sure you dong join a unranked one..

                  I got mine last night on the new patch...so I dont know what to tell ya man. I did notice though (like you said) all your hours HAVE to be logged in order to get the badge. For instance, I was on a SF map last night only 15 minutes short of 16 hours for SF Vet Engineer. After a bit of playing I had 28 kills yet no badge. I checked my time stat an hour or so later and I had reached the 16 hour requirement so I just chalked it up to the fact you can not enter a round short of the time requirement and expect to get the time and kills logged. Oh well I will try again tonight.

                      Good suggestion. But I made sure that it was a ranked server before my second attempt. I joined 3 servers, all officially ranked.

                          try again, sometimes it happens like that. it happened to me like 3 times too with my expert explosives badge, but finally got it..

                              Ya, same thing happened to me but it was when i was trying to get the good conduct medal, it took me 5 rounds to get it. Sometimes BFHQ or or any site is a little slow on racking up what you got logged.....

                                          Do what some a$$es where doing on Karkand. Get yourself a Vodnick and go to a remote ramp on the island side. Drive the vod about half way in and change your seat position. As the vod takes damage from setting that deep in the water they would then start to repair the vod. Rinse and repeat until they had the points they needed. When called on it they just responded do you know what it takes to get the vet badge for engineer!

                                              You just don't stop do you? If you did bother reading my post at all, then you would have realised that I was fully aware of the nessessary requirements for the badge. This post was created because I exceeded and met those requirements and I was still not awarded with the badge. Who's the numbnuts now, genious?

                                                          Id be careful with this..The wrong person catches you doing it they will report you and bye bye stats..Just a warning..Take it as you will:)
