since patch 1.12 came out i havnt been able to play battlefield 2. everytime i installed the patch i click the bf2 icon and the big battlefield 2 logo comes up then i get the windows error message saying sorry but battlefield2.exe has encounterd and error and must close. no matter what i do it doesnt fix it. so i uninstalled bf2 completely and installed it didnt put the patch on it works fine so i installed special forces over that and it stoped working. i brought special forces when it came out and havnt even played it.
i even installed bf2 on a nother pc in my house and it worked fine with the patch. this made me buy a new harddrive and yet the problems still happens. so i went to put a new graphics card in my pc problem still happens.
now im not total sure what ea have done in there new patches but theres something rong with there software and my pc.
my pc spec is more than enough for bf2. cpu-amd fx 55, graphics card radeon 9800xt, 1.5gb corsair ram, 2 80gb harddrives with 30gb free on each. i dont understand why after installing the patch or special forces it stops me from playing. someone plz help
