i have a screenshot what i see..this is a screenshot of karkand
Re: Installed patch...but can see through buildings? WHAT
BF2 is so tempramental. Once I installed it and buildings would go black (no overheat) and I would lag to high heavens, even though my computer and bf2 were exactly the same as before. Try a reinstall if it dosen't get any better.
Re: Installed patch...but can see through buildings? WHAT
I have the same problem, but in addition, the game lags like hell when it tries rendering the textures (which it fails to do anyway). I know that the lag is related to the building textures because if I go to a remote area with no buildings, there's no lag at all.
For the record, I have a Radeon 9200 AGP card, but I have heard that people owning other brands of video cards have had similar problems.
Re: Installed patch...but can see through buildings? WHAT
Well, I have a Asus Radeon 9250, and sure enough, same thing as you guys, but this gave me an awesome reason to buy a new computer. Does this only happen to us low end computer owners, or do any of you l337ness computer peeps have the same problem?

I have this exact same problem, with a radeon 8500LE, know its an old card but it ran bf2 fine before the patch...
And it's a supported card too. :o
The 9200 wasn't officially a supported video card (even though it worked if it was an AGP model), so EA could pull the "your system doesn't meet minimum requirements bull ****."
