I usually play 64 player servers, I used to be able to put a high number in the player count box, eg 45, press enter, then that would show all the big servers.
Now when I press enter nothing comes up!

Also, I just saw a funny thing, a blackhawk dishing out flares like ther's no tomorrow!! As if the pilot was bashing the flare button and they didn't take time to reload, needless to say I didn't take him out with the 'new improved' AA.

They need to get rid of their own POS browser and use another company's one. Anything else they use will be better, but they are too selfish and greedy to use something better.

I personally think that the browser is better than what it was before, not really good yet, but an improvement. At least now when it loads teh servers, it doesn't take 20 minutes for all of them to show up. And the server filter that they provide for you work just fine. I agree that they need to work on user defined filters however.

get and use the all seeing eye.. i love it.. buddy lists, filters that work, ping limits, map and mod filters blah blah blah

yea, wish it was better but look at the in-game browser issues this way. Time spent looking for a server: 1-2 minutes max, time spent in game after finding game: 1-2 hours min. Don't think its a big deal, have my fav. list setup anyway, so I hardly every even look at the main server listing. But anyway, there are several 3rd party BF2 server browsers, that work very well.

Hi, thanks for the ASE tip, I'm using that to get the IP now, although I do get a 'invalid ip' message when I type in BF2.

Thing is with bf 1.2, there are just not enough seagulls on dalian plant, why can't we see more wildlife, *humph* life goes on (without the seagulls)
