We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
The reason why the PKM is so great is that people dont realize that they have to find another route to avoid getting shot, they just storm out 1.0 style..
Dont worry in a couple of weeks the PKM will work as a supressor rather than a big chewer..
Or a single shot sniper rifle...... The thing is accurate, and if you haven't tried it at distance with single shots don't talk. Its ridiculous.
These were the two rounds I played on Karkand today. If I can do this consistently with the PKM, this thing is overpowered and way too accurate. Its not even a challenge. The time it takes prone does NOT equal a "fair" tradeoff. I'm all in favor of higher scores, but come on... These are scores I would have to work to get playing medic, now I just have to grab my PKM and start picking people off with my "automatic sniper rifle." Welcome to the new assault class.
totally agree...was on karkand with the new patch...soon as i saw a support guy i was dead before he even hit the floor....so i went support myself and started mowning down everyone with ease......now its just "press Z and press fire"....preffered it with the bunny hopping noob tubers.
They have increased the PKMs accuracy and power too much imo, its rediculous. The sniper doesn't even have that
In 1.12, what kits did NOT have the ability to take out a sniper at virtually any range just by popping single shots at them for a while?
One: Support. Engineers needed the MP7 to do it, but you still could.
While I considered it a simple tradeoff for the kit now, the fact is that ALL kits are a formidable force to be reckoned with now, not just assault/SO/medic.
And sniper doesn't have WHAT? Have you TRIED the new M95? The thing is retardedly accurate. I can crouch and wait a half-second and the shot will almost always land.
The changes all make sense to me. Increase accuracy, pretty much have to be in prone. You should be able to own people if they are just running around. It's retarded for someone to round a corner, see a support in prone and then go to prone and kill them. Tactically the changes are on the money.
I can see the LGM's really living up to the potential of provided cover fire, while squads rush. Or locking down areas for defense. I bet you will see alot of people playing SF/Med's with the g36's because they are very accurate while standing, at least that is my plan when I'm not on support.
Fought for the first time since the new patch on a karkand server. it..was..ridicolous. i swear, everuone on the USMC where support with PKM. The only one who weren't where me, toying with my new sniper. Every enemy had...PKM. Campers=PKM Attackers=PKM.
If a support can bearely see the sniper and vice versa, who should have the advantage? I landed a shot on a PKM-dude, and he hit me in the head, first shot. I might just be whining, and I prolly need some time to adjust, but the PKM seems a tad overpowered.
Off Topic: What do you guys think about DICE using the Sprint animation for jumping and standing up?
I'm glad to see the support class get some love. I tried out the PKM and it's definitely powerful but I hope to dear god that as people get used to seeing the LMGs on the battlefield it starts to balance out. The last thing I want to see is 75% of people on every server playing support.
