New problem?

This all bagan when I dled the new bf2 patch. I forgot where I got it so it could have been leaked or something wrong with it because when I launched the game it went black and crshed to dk. I came here to see if people were having the same problem as me and someone mentioned reinstalling bf2 and the bigger patch file from a trusted site. So I dled the bigger patch from fileplanet and uninstalled bf2. When I tried to install it again it seemed liek it would not read my 2nd install disc as it was stuck on the mods/levels/maps/Fushe Pass and belive me I tried cleaning the disc and trying over and over again. Thats what it was after 1st one finished. I than decided to system restore. After I did that I installed the patch from fileplanet and when I launched it I got this

This is starting to get really frustrating. I have spent 3 hours trying to figure out WTF is going on. If anyone can help me please do. I also thought I might have a virus so I'm doing a viruss scan now.

my game just run with static mesh disabled

if ur using ATI card the latest driver 6.2 probably play a role in crash to DT

why does it do it on majority of ati cards and only a little percent of nvidia. stupid ea nvidia partnership. pretty soon ati will be eradicated i bet.
this is getting really frustrating

because ATI think their x850 got a lead in technology for a few sec so they give up everything else for advancement and support to that specific piece of hardware?

I actually have an nvidia 6800. Used to run fine dunno what heppened. By the way virrusscan came up with zilch. It's updated frequenlty so I will trust it. But stupid **** won't let me reinstall its starting to get at my nerves. Never had problems with EA/DICE but this takes the cake. Also their slow response which I have still yet to see.
