I unlocked the new sniper and I have special forces but I do not have the option to pick the new anti tank weapon. It's just not there to pick. I logged on and off 10 times and still can't pick it.

HELP

It's highly likely that unless you've unlocked the DAO-12 first you can't choose it as it's a second teir unlock.

the sniper is kick ass, its about as good as the m24, maybe even slightly better, and sindce the m24 was the most accurate sniper, thisone is on the same level, the m95 is less accurate and sux at long range headshots, only good for penetrating glass and such.

for mec en china the new sniper is the best choice, for US it doesnt realy matter wich u choose from the m24 and the new one.

and as been said before, the PKM and the G36 support guns kick ass, the g36 is just a slight bit better in 3 round burst at long range, but the PKM is allot more powerfull. so its the best choice on maps like Sharqui and karkand.

If you look at the numbers (on another thread here) the L96 is identical to the M24... The only difference the scope and they both have nice scopes...

It is worth getting used to the L96 as it is available to all the sides in the game...

On a side note the improvements to the M95 sound good and and it is definately more accurate than before the increase in the M24 (and thus the L96) accuracy still makes the M95 feel inaccurate by comparison. Saying that I did have a lot of fun last night on Wake 2007 with the M95 knock out PLA guys as they mouted up into the Attack Chopper or the J10...

Can't comment on the P90...

Scar L kicks ass... Don't know what you're talking about... I haven't played with it since the patch but pre patch it rocks....

Statistically, the SCAR-L is worse than the G36C in practically every way. Less accurate, less damaging. The only things good about it are the dot scope and the noise.

I haven't checked the stats, but some quick preliminary runs with the P90 seem to show that it is really, really bad. I was appalled at how long it took to take people down with it.

The new sniper is statistically IDENTICAL to the M24. Same. Exact. Gun.

The M95 is as accurate as the M24 used to be, so you are quite capable of long-range head shots, but quite frankly, I'll usually just aim for the torso and clean up with the pistol. It still does 95 damage to armored targets, which the other two DON'T. And if I'm hitting my target almost every single time while CROUCHED, how much more accuracy do I need?

I played like 1hr with the L96 last night, and well, I didnt really had time to check the bullet drop, if its bigger than the m24, but I can say it rocks!!! The damage seems the same as the M24, anyone can post the stats of each weapons?

I also saved an unlock for one of these two. I didnt get the L96 because, as mentioned, its got the same specs as the M24 but it's a bolt-action ... which to me seems like a waste of time.

I got the P90 instead, but I'm not happy with it. I'd like to hear from the guys who say "if you use it right" its a good weapon ... how exactly should this be used correctly? (Dark alley, from behind, toss a nade first? LOL)

Get the sniper.
If not for accuracy, get for the sound it makes. Gods, it sounded like thunder every time I fired it. I started singing AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" everytime I hit an enemy.

Dude, go get the sniper now. It'll rock your socks.

Like said before, the new sniper unlock is superb. I'm just about to go and try the new improved M95 to see if it beats the new comer.

But if you use the P90 right, you can get a lot of kills at times.

Yeah the new sniper rocks I saved an unlock for it and its great. Its SLIGHTLY better than the m24. I seem to be hitting moving targets a lot more now.

the l96 is the same as the other sniper rifles.. it just has a different sound which sounds AWESOME!! personally i would get the the p90 if you have the m95 since with the new patch the accuracy has been increased greatly, i'm poping heashots while moving standing up with the m95... its that sick... p90 just cuz it has a long clip and you like to spray.. idk.. pick up a dead player's kit and test it it out.

If they fixed the m95 accuracy, I don't have any need for the new unlock.

At least with this patch, any army can get access to an accurate sniper rifle. Kind of sucked always having to play whichever side had the m24. :-)

Well the M95 is as accurate as the M24 was and the M24 (and L96) just rock...
