Patch 1.2 problem
I installed the latest patch 1.2 right? When I started it, the servers I enter to all had lag, and the buildings r all gone. I tried reinstalling the patch, but it said I needed the 1.12 patch. I kept trying to reinstall the 1.12 patch, but when I try the 1.2, it kept telling me that needed to reinstall the 1.12 patch is there a way to fix this?:hmm:

download the full 300MB patch overnight.
If problem persist that reinstall bf2 alltogether and than install the full 300MB patch. If problem still persists than i would say contact EA.Comment

had the same problem, serious lagging even when searching for servers and single player game. Plan to reinstall bf2, hopes it gets better. *finger crossed*:|:Comment

I have a similar damn problem.
I installed 1.2 incremental fine, played BF2 just fine. But then I decided to install SF as I need the G36E medic unlock (due to AT now sucking as I can't use the sprint exploit - lol)... After installing SF I then installed 1.12 again, and then I tried to install the 1.2 incremental...
It told me the same thing "you need BF2 1.12 installed first"... fricking lameass programming.
So now Im downloading the full 1.2 patch. That is taking forever, it was 130KB/s but its been steadily dropping since, Im currently on 83KB/s....Comment
