Aparently there is a hack/exploit that allows the MEC chopper to spam unlimited and uninterrupted flares. I just had it happen to me on Gulf of Oman. Sorry the video isn't the absolute best but we had 1 base left and were getting destroyed by the invencible chopper. :-/ If you look the chopper is the only one dropping flares and there are always flares under him. It was tanking the FPS of everyone in the server (I was on team speak with 12 of the 64) and we all saw it. I can try to take better video if I see it later. From what I could tell, the jet dropped flares, the chopper dropped flares and about 8 seconds later the chopper dropped them again. I dunno.

I saw it as well same map different chopper the BH threw out chafs for about 30 seconds then stoped for about 5 seconds and did it again.

Nah all the flares were the mec attack chopper. That's what I was sayin about it not being the best. Look for it though, I swear it happens. My bro and half the map can back me up everyone was screaming.

I saw this in dalian plant, the bh throw flares without stoping. The cobra throw them normal. Is this a hack or a bug?

ya i dunno if its a hack or not. because well i cant find any hack that relates to this. But there is an aimbot. which will explain alot of those turn around one shot to the head deaths u guys have seen.

But i definately have shot down every single one of them no trouble so far.

when there is no lock to neither the heli nor flares aim straight on and shoot. and a little lead. Same thing really to the AT missle. u might die 5 times before u kill the heli. with AT missles. but at least u took out a raping heli.

turn around headshots? Don't be a moron, It takes more then 1 shot with almsot EVERY single wepon to the head in bf2 to kill someone, this ain't counter strike kid.

from the video the flares are just deployed once.
