I just started playing battlefield 2 about 2 weeks ago and Im looking for some advice. Should I play with one class and stick with it or should I use a variety of different classes during a game?

Just try and be what you think would be the best to help your team out, i.e. AT if there is a tank. or just be what you think would best aid you in the situation that you will be in. or which one is the most fun -

depending on the situation and map .
On the chinees maps you have a good deal on the AT or spec ops guy , they can take out vehicles, or an engineer when driving yourself, they can repair the vehicle .
In maps as karkand, mashtuur, sharqi, you better be asseult, medic or spec ops, good vs infantry and have the rifles you need around there.
When you feel like doing it some easy, take sniper kit, put yourself on a nice place and snipe some guys.
when you get killed by vehicle on your flag, spawn back there as AT or spec ops to take it out .
Also, another tip, when you spwan as AT to take out a vehicle, you destroy vehicle and AT kit seems useless now, just look around for bags, take there kit and go on
Moral : use all kits, play the kit you like best most of the time and use other kits when the situation is asking for itComment

What you do is up to you. Experiment with different kits. I personally play as all kits apart from Engineer or Assault.Comment

If you're going to try out sniper, I suggest you try it on Karkand as MEC.
Semi automatic sniper rifles have much better learning curves.Comment
