Is the P90 really worth it? it dosent look that powerfull form the movie where the anti-tank guy was shooting that one guy. has anyone got it, and what do you think?

Well between the P90, MP7 and SCAR-L, what would you guys recommend? I would have gotten the MP7 in a heartbeat before, but it was nerfed significantly in this patch, so I dunno. The SCAR-L isn't better than the G36C, and the P90 is, apparently, crap. So, of the three, any recommendations?Comment

the MP7 isn't good, better use the jackhamer,
the P90, OMFG, this thing is worth about 0 $ , realy, it lacks acuracy big time, has slow firerate, and extremely low damage, DAO is much better, don't pick the P90 you will regret itComment

They BUTCHERED the P90 in BF2.
It has horrible accuracy.
It has horrible damage.
It has a horrible rate of fire.
What else is there for a gun? Optics? They help a tad. Magazine size? The Bizon has only 5 less, but far greater accuracy and rate of fire.
Absolutely horrid. It almost seems like they buffed up the default SMGs, but forgot to buff up the P90.Comment

I'm pretty sure the actual stats taken from the game files show that the P90 is worse than all the SMGs, except on magazine size. (edit: rombaft beat me to it :) )
Worse accuracy, worse ROF, etc. It's nowhere near as good as the DAO-12, which is actually a nice upgrade from the class.
Since the other SMGs got a little more accurate in 1.2, they are a little more useful...but I'd still take my lovely streetsweeper any day!
In conclusion: P90 = WorthlessComment

Hmm...so it's between the nerfed MP7 and SCAR-L...both seem kind of worthless. Is the MP7 any better than a pistol at medium range? And is there ANY situation in which I would use the SCAR-L over the G36C?Comment

I am a little disappointed with the P90, but I don't regret unlocking it. People need to remember that it is still an SMG and can't be compared directly to the DAO.
One thing I like about it is the optical sight; makes short range sniping much easier. And since the gun isn't very loud it's harder for the enemy to figure out where you are.
Also the 50 round clip is VERY nice!Comment

I like the P90-its got a 50 round clip, which makes up for its damage and accuracy. It also looks pretty good. I actually liked the MP7 better, but that was the pre-1.2 MP7. I havent used the 1.2 MP7 yet.Comment
