I had the same problem as you did. After installing the patch, it rerendered the textures. Basicly I had to delete the textures from My Documents, rerender (again) the textures, start the game and DONT do anything. Then quit out and restart the computer.

Finally after doing this my FPS went from 15, back to 80ish.

WTF u telling us ur gona MATE, what the hell, keep that to ur self man, it's valintines but still u dont have to tell use ur gona bang someone.
