Master Sergeant rank bugged?

Says next rank is First Sergeant with the progress meter pegged at full? Patch Bug? I'm at 25k+ with all requirements, but did not have it when I hit 20k.

I am in the extact same position as you...

I am wondering if you only get the First Sergeant if you had all the badges when you first hit 20K as opposed to getting them later...

Yep, this is the case. You must have all requirements met when you hit the magic 20K number.

yes you are correct. if you dont get it at 20k, you will never get it. you will have to wait till 50k and get Sergeant Major.

Seems people are getting confused here. Let me clarify this issue.

• At 20,000 points, when you earn your rank, a check is made. If you have all the basic combat badges, you will go up to First Sergeant. If you do not, you go up to Master Sergeant.
• No other checks are made until the next rank. That means if you get that one basic combat badge you were missing at 21,458, you will not suddenly get promoted to First Sergeant. You will remain a Master Sergeant.
• At 50,000 points, another check is made. If you have the required badges, you will become Sergeant Major (regardless of whether or not you were First/Master previously). If you do not, you become a Master Gunnery Sergeant.
• No additional checks are made. If you get that badge you were missing at 79,462, you will not suddenly go up in rank.
