So what happened to the L96 and P-90??

I thought the intent of them was to replace the M24 and MP-5 as default SAS weapons, I was also lead to believe these guns were for SF owners.Now sure I went into vanilla and unlocked the L96(sexy sound BTW) but then I go and fire up SF and where are these weapons in SF? NOWHERE! Man sometimes I wonder whats between DICE's ears besides the wind......

I believe the guns were for the booster pack, Euro Force.

Because it shows up in the list of details for the game.

Well yes I understand they are "from" the boosters but I was led to believe that they were to round out the tier 2 unlocks as sniper and AT didnt get any new weapons in SF just recycles.There wont be any unlocks in the boosters just default weapons as SF is now I woulda thought they would have replaced the recycles with the new guns not make them JUST Vanilla unlocks where as all the rest of the Tier 2's are default SAS/SEALS weapons in SF,I guess I shouldnt even try to comprehend DICE's logic....

I was a little disappointed not seeing them in SF as well. Not completely surprised though. My SCAR-L never showed up when I unlocked that either. *shrugs*

I agree, atleast the M24 for the SAS should have been replaced with the L96.

the L96 and P90 are like all the other SF unlocks u can only get them if u have SF but u can only use them in vanilla BF2

Thats not completely right, the unlocks are for SF players only, u can always use them in vanilla, and u can use them in SF but only with certain armies, e.g. the British SAS has the F2000

This is so dumb, I understand why we can't use sf unlocks in sf, but why can't we use euro unlocks in sf...I mean, its not like the default for AT for any faction/country is a p90...so no reason here....

Pretty damn screwed up===SF is going to die a slow death now---hate to say it----but why play SF now? no New stock weapons,which should've been there in the first place, and now EuroForce is going to steal all of its momentum-Like someone said, it should have the Euro Booster unlocks---

I havn't played SF in 1.2 yet but I'd assume the L96 and P90 would replace the stock guns for the SAS wouldn't they? Because they just had the M24 and MP5 before.
