Yes, I've spent 38 hours in AA with a lot of that coming on Wake.
I have been eagerly awaiting this patch to see how changes will affect gameplay.
You cannot believe how much TK/griping/sillyness I've seen on the deck of the Essex by people who just had to get the jet so they could go off and whore.
How many times I've shot missles at a departing J-10 only to have them veer off and take out a chopper full of my teammates.
Multiple runs of planes literally scraping the deck clean of players waiting to whore it up with the attack chopper and plane.
Maybe the patch will cure several issues.
1) Reduce the number of people on the team fighting amongst themselves to get aircraft rather than against the enemy.
2) Reduce the number of spawn raping pilots who don't give their team air support where it is needed.
3) Force attack choppers to perform their role which is to provide support.
4) Force air power to use more elegant tactics (believe me, 90% of J-10 pilots come straight to the carrier from the land air base on Wake - the ones who come in at another angle take the aa by suprise and "BOOM!")
5) Keep the Chinese attack chopper from going out to the carrier and spawn raping.
6) Reduce the number of idiots who run into/lay down under aircraft while it is trying to take off to cause intentional TK's
Believe me - there are pilots out there who can take out AA before it even locks on them and know that taking out aa is the first necessity in their tactical plan.
Also, I'm no 733T pilot and if I can get in a plane and pwn the other team something needed to be fixed - PERIOD!
So, I'll be waiting for you in the rear AA on the Essex. He who laughs last ...
