It's not an issue really, apart from the fact that people have earned ranked and medals.

The Patch made an Auto System Restore:
[Resize your image, its too big]
So far there hasn't been evidence of this anyway.

We got word yesterday that the ranked server software was being distributed. We got word of the patch coming out today at 1800 CET. Someone leaks the patch and it's compatible with updated ranked servers. Something tells me it's not a beta build. But I could be wrong.

1.12 version number is going tobe something like 1.1.2534-xxx.x. I'm not sure exactly.

My "1.2" is 1.1.2696-528.0... i'm not saying this is damning evidence, but shouldn't the version number for 1.2 be 1.2.xxxx-xxx.x? not 1.1.2?

Just doesn't look good. THe red/blue nametag thing is still there.. everything seems wonky... i don't know. and no one will until the official.

I m not 100%, but if you installed a patch, it will modify your registery and you might have to reinstall (reason 1)

Or, it might modify some stuff in your Objects_client.zip or Object_server.zip or the map files in some way and the original patch may not do it (Dice guys may have removed those) and if this is the case (which i believe it is) then no matter what you do (even a system restore) you will not get everything back. You will have to reinstall (reason2).

It basicly says "it's coming soon". It doesn't say it's out. It doesn't even hint that it's ready ta go. It says it's in the final stages.

I quoted the whole thing in my "wouldn't it be funny" thread. Too lazy to re-quote it, so just go look there.

EA/DICE have released nothing official, ergo, don't download patches from random sites.

There is currently no scheduled release time or date for the 1.20 patch.

While it has cleared final testing and is being prepared for release, it has not been uploaded or distributed yet.

Until you see a link posted by either EAUK_Sentience or myself on this forum you are at your own risk. Be aware that there have already been incidences of users posting fake patch files on this forum, so the simple guideline, as ever, is that unless you see it posted officially, it's not real.

We appreciate that there is a significant amount of anticipation regarding the patch but at this time there is no further news.

We will continue to update this thread as we have further news.
