Problems Playing Online with 1.2?

Anyone else having trouble playing online with 1.2? I either get:

1. kicked right away and an error saying I have a modified version (joining only 1.2 servers)

2. a repeating message about the server running an outdated version of punkbuster while I am playing

When I get #2 I can play for a few mins then BF2 crashes to desktop. Works flawlessly in singleplayer though

I get number 1 and have yet to be able to join a server. I'm starting to think most of these pre release patches are completer BS. There were harly any servers and even the servers that were there weren't all full.

maby, and the noob tubing, hopping and all that seems a bit altered but still possible

I was getting error #1, all I had to do was update PunkBuster.....seems to work fine now, I do agree with the note below by Acentric, bunny hopping and dolphin diving are still very much possible, however I think most players will use bunny hopping/dolphin diving even less knowing that they are unable to shoot while doing so. I love that the air power is weaker, I know when I flew it was not the same. Support is alot better, also the new sniper rifle is great. I heard you are now able to take out a chopper with one anti-tank shot, can't wait to try that out.

I think its just the beta, seems pretty wierd compared to what they state the patch does. Bunny hopping is still possible, just cant shoot when u jump, dolphin diving also, just jump, prone, crouch in that order and its possible, you can also get up from going prone fast if u crouch. Also, the noobtoobing is still possible at close range, you can shoot at ur feet and it will blow up. But the support guns are very nice. All in all, i just hope its a beta, also the Air power is now the weakest thing out there, Jets are like paper against siccors (anything shooting at it), and so are the helis, ALSO the AA, and IGLA's are superb now, they mostly ALWAYS hit the target, only time they miss is when the lock on signal goes to far away that u loose site of them or if they use the flares, but thats no big deal, good thing airpower is now not to great.
