Heres the dilema, I bought BF2 in summer played it, my power supply exploded, fixed it after a month and started playing BF2 again, downloaded new patch and noticed everytime i join a game it crashes to the desktop and shows the initial box that says EA on it and then stays there for about 5 seconds, then goes black for about 5 seconds, then shows the initial log in scree (i.e. the one where it says Euro Force coming in Feb.) then after about 10 seconds on that it finally starts loading server, any ideas?

your refresh rates maybe... or resolutions and settings might be changing or something. -

Uh, by any chance are you loading a SF map from vanilla BF2, cause that's perfectly normal, since BF2 is swapping over to the SF version. Happens the other way around too.Comment
