Lag Solutions / Questions added

First thing is first, everyone knows this or SHOULD know it.

...\documents and settings\username\my documents\bf2\mod\cash

If your lagging, put down your graphics detail, exit the game and deleate all files insider the above listed folder...

I did it and WAW... I play(ed) without lag, its great...

However, after playing the game more then 3 times... IT SEEMS TO LAG MORE AND MORE EVERY SINGLE TIME I LUNCH THE GAME..

Untill I remove all cash files once again...

Am I the only one ?

Removing Introduction Videos
So as SOON as you clicked on your bf2.exe or your bf21.exe or your batch file telling windows to run bf2.exe or bf21.exe as a HIGH PRIORITY to allocate it more memory, well there is no EA GAMES then DICE videos, then there is obviously no intro video that I have already enjoyed...
So... bf2.exe POOF login the game without wait.

My question here.
Can I remove the VIDEO BACKGROUND... its pretty cool, but I rather have no background... I think it would lag less..

Does anyone know witch file is the video background ?

Ya but removing that cache means you need to optimize shaders everytime you erase it.

remove/rename them all
and you will have to re-optimize only once per each time you remove cache - ermoving videos has no effect on optiimizing
it just saves you load time for the game (not map)
and gives you more free memory
