We have some good news for you regarding Patch 1.2. The patch has now undergone its final phase before release, and is currently being prepared to be released very soon. We will update you further when we know the exact day the patch will be released.

I want to extend our thanks to the fans for helping us grapple with the issues that have made your game play less than an optimal experience at times. We are pleased with the improvements in the patch and sincerely hope you are all pleased with the work we’ve done.

OH NO, That is so messed up if they release the patch on Valentines day because that is one of the several days during the year that there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY a man can neglect his girlfriend to play video games.

Cool, thanks, but the question I have is why all these Euro sites have this info but this one http://www.ea.com/official/battlefie.../community.jsp
the last update was 01/31/06? You would think that they would want to spread this type of news evenly throughout the company.

I wonder if they have done anything about the patch only using c:\temp and wanting 3gb of space?

Thankfully I built a new system and left plenty of space on c: just for this.
