Taking screenshot after the end of the game

Hello all, i'm just wondering if the game allows us to do that? You know in the end of the game and during the map change... can we press printscreen button to take screenie. I checked the screenshots folder but they were not there.

All i did is press ALT+printscreen and paste it to the photo stuff.

oh BTW, printscreen works during thea game. sry if this has been asked before.

yes, used in ladder matches/clan matches to prove results

No, BF2 does not capture screenies unless you are actually ingame. So hitting printscreen after the match is over, and you see the list of everyones scores, will not make a picture file in your screenshots folder.

If you want to save a nice score or such, hit printscreen, and manually Alt-Tab out later and paste it in Microsoft Paint.

i remember battlefield vietnam let us do that right? i mean pressing printscreenshot to take screenshots after the match.

I use fraps for screenies, much easier and it doesn'tpause the game for 2 whole seconds like BF2 does :|:

No problem here. Press print screen and paste it in MS Paint. Bf2 will only save screenies in game.

Hitting printscreen in BF2 gives me a two second lag at least. Usually has the same effect as hitting the suicide button, without the negative score...
Plus it automatically creates a png, and a jpg version of the screen. Why can't it just let me chose between png and jpg?

Been a constant problem in clan matches, once the map is over your screwed.

Fraps is a good choice, but if you're running Xfire already, why fire up another app.

Xfire SS feature = scroll lock + S

I use Xfire for all of my SS's now, and created a shortcut on the desktop to the SS folder in Xfire. If you "process screenshots" after you quit the game, it'll add them to your Xfire profile page...a nice feature to have a clanmate post a SS you need, easy to pull them from their page...

Thanks all for your help. I'll try fraps later. some said the free version is good enough and won't decrease your pc gaming performace as long as your puter isn't too bad.

Yep but you can take unlimited screenies
