    SYSPREP and BF2

    Hello All,

Has anyone here successfully 'resurrected' their BF2 installation after performing a sysprep operation?

I have found that a perfectly working BF2 on my master machine will be somewhat broken after deployment and sysprep on a new system.

If one runs BF2 on the newly imaged machine, it takes about 2 minutes of Black screen before the game begins.

So far I have tried re-install my Nvidia drivers on top, re-installing the latest patch on top, deleting the profiles, deleting the cache, adding new profiles.......none of those work.

The only thing I have found is to uninstall BF2 totally, clean the registry, and re-install BF2 again. Not an ideal solution for more than one computer in the house.

Does anyone have any helpful suggestions or straight out solutions for me to try?

    Ta

its widely known that sysprep is kind of inferior.

I'd try using Symantec Ghost for a more reliable image.
