I am interested to see what systems my fellow gamers have built to satisfy thier addiction to the Battlefield.

I built this system last month.

72 gig raptor

Zalman heatsink and fan

I spent all my money on hardware......cant afford a decent cammera

I love the saas, not only were my fees payed for but I got £1700 + travel expences.

4007 seams a bit on the low side for those specs, i was getting somthing along the lines of 39** and my specs are about half of what you have.

X800XL OCed to 430/535 (more for non BF2 programs)
Antec Smartpower 2.0 500w PSU
Thermaltake Tsunami Case with side panel window
All stock cooling
Um, it cost total around 1300 bucks. I wish i had more money though.

hey u realize that your fansink is on sideways, the fan is supposed to be facing forward

Ya, i forgot to mention that. THe Zalman 9500 is designed to blow right into ur rear case fan, hence it's unusual horizontal design. By putting it the way u have it now, ur not letting the hot air go out as efficiently as if u put it the other way. THerefore, u get a higher case ambient temp, and then higher temp for all ur componants. ANd if u can't turn the HSF around to face the rear exhaust fan, then u got a screwed up mobo.

dudes,,,the zalman is on correctly for my system...temp stays 39c. I have 4 case fans. ! for hard drive rack..rear..front...and top.

About the 3dmark06 score.... I dont quite understand it. Check out some of the scores for the ati cards. I thought they were extremely low based on the specs and cards. I get 70-90 frames in bf2 with ultra settings.

Load or idle? Also, u got a screwed up mobo, cause it's supposed to be turned th other way. Are u sure u can't turn it around to blow the hot air into the rear exhaust fan?
