X200

I'm considering getting a laptop with this graphics card. It meets the other requirements of BF2. What do you guys reckon? I'm only getting it to replace my PC because when the monitor is plugged into my GeForce 6600le if you so much as nudge the bastard, it turns the monitor off. I've checked all connections, and it's slotted in correctly etc. Anywho, whad'ya reckon?

Get the X300 instead, its cheap as well and it's better, only 80 bucks over here, which means that its around 50 in the US

right, let's not buy both of those cards.. the x300 is just a no go and the x200 is like an onboard video solution.. looks like you ahve to save up...

The X300 is not worth putting money on IMO. If you were going to use your laptop for surfing or programming sure, but gaming? Save money and get something better.

laptops arent good for bf2...they tend to overheat alot

With what settings?
I have tried a X300 and all I can say is there's alot better graphics cards on the market. And if you're going to get a new one you might aswell wait a little more and get a much better one.

I don't give a rats ass about graphics, fact: I spared A LOT more money than you and have about the same framerate with sacrifice of eyecandy.

If you are obsessed with graphics and have enough cash, go ahead get a better card then.

I prefer Eye candy and a good framerate. So for me it felt as it was worth it. Adding the fact that I want other games to look good too made it an even easier choice. Like F.E.A.R, Doom3, Half-Life 2 Fakefactory Cinematic Mod and so on.
