Ruining my game and score ....

I know this kind of thing has been posted here before but i've just got of a round and i'm steaming. In one round where there were 200 tickets on mashturcity (so not along rounhd only about 10 mins) i managed to get 4 idiots running into my claymores, i hadn't even dropped them in bad places there was one covering the top of a ladder and the other three covering my ass while i sniped. It seemed like every time i put one down a nob came and decided that they should try and smell the mine. Oh and what a suprise, every time THEY stupidly ran into it, they punished me. FFS i ended up with about -12 team score !!!!. I tried to ask them why they had punished me for THEIR stupidity and again suprise suprise they seem to have got a case stevie wonder reading ability.

I mean don't get me wrong i relaise that sometimes this things happens that you accidently run into a claymore .... but thats what it is, an ACCIDENT, and therefore shouldn't be punished.

As i said i know that this kind of thing has been posted before, but i'm steaming that this keeps happening.... punish needs to be taken off servers to stop cocks from abusing it.

Surely after the first or second time you would stop laying them? I only lay them at the top of ladders if the surrounding CP's arent ours. On the other hand though, they should have checked as well.

This ****es me off no end.

I gave up on Basic Explosives with a claymore because I don't think TKs count.

It was Karkand (where the hell else, I only play Karkand) and I put a claymore in the gap that leads to the alleyways (facing out). Then a team mate crawls -OVER- the claymore. Behind, he was fine. But no, he actually crawls on top of my claymore.

I admit that I underestimated their range and got killed that way, but actually crawling over the back over the claymore is just ridiculous!!!

I never really punish team killers, "war is hell" is the motto I take on the matter, but some of the things I've seen people do. At least I'm not a div who punishes people for my own mistakes.

Stay away from public servers where possible, find some regular clan hosted servers to play on & they should be better, use "All seeing eye" (Google is your friend) to find low ping ranked clanservers & you should be fine.

Some servers have auto punish enabled. So the idiots didn't even know they punished.

When I am an engireer, I like to use the old ATM's. however teammates are always driving staight into them! "TW**"
Yesterday whilst deploying some of the afformentioned "little beautys" I noticed they did not have the red skull and cross bones??.....Wtf????

I'm tempted to stop using the engineer kit completely becuase my team always drives over my mines. I mean, how hard is it to see the mine? Even an enemy mine is not hard to notice if it's in a middle of a paved road, leave alone your teams mines.

i had the exact same thing, someone told me this morning that you can toggle those indicators by using the Alt keys. im yet to try it but thats my contribution to this thread, altought its possibly wrong! lol

i did initially belive it to be the admin turning them off to make the game more realistic but its unfair for the teamkills, cos if u knew the mine/explosive was there wouldnt you do your upmost to avoid it?? i find you have to be creative with explosives posistioning, the old C4 on the top of flag pole is my personal favourite, you know the one that takes out the hovering chopper trying to capture the flag without actually leaving the cockpit! otherwise ATM's in shallow water??

I've ran over AT mines before, not by accident, but I thought there was enough room for me to sqeeze by. But I was wrong, the vehicle is wider than it seems. So I don't try to sqeeze by anymore. Maybe a lot of other are running over AT mines this way.

It's hard for me to feel sorry for a sniper. I've been playing the game since it came out and I've seen a total of about 3 snipers that weren't complete morons and thousands that were. Perhaps this is part of the problem? So many idiots are drawn to certain classes like sniper it makes it difficult for those exceedingly rare people who aren't...

Ruining your score? Punish does not remove more points than forgive.

The only thing punish does is get you kicked if it happens too many times.

i've learned to NOT place any AT mines or claymores, EVER. they're like supermagnets that attract friendlies and repel enemies.

The Alt key toggles your 3d map. If you press ALt in game, it will not only turn off the red skull and crossbones, but all the flags, blown up assets symbols and blown up bridge symbols will disappear as well. It's useful when engaging an area and the stupid symbols clutter the screen.
