I knew it, he didn't bunny hop once. I found it much easier to knife without bunny hopping, I only felt avoiding getting hit was when I bunny hopoed when I was I was trying to be hit. That Tv station is a great place. Good on him, this just proves that it's not impossible.

Good to see the sniper pulled out his knife too, I would have done the same, Just feel that killing a guy thats knifing isn't really fair to shoot him. Better off having a knife fight

Exactly sphox, i always go for knife if somone tries to knife me. Its a big fun part of the game. Some knife fights last ages, especially if your sliding down a mountain together, i never laughed so much. Both of us trying to get a hit in and trying parachute at the right time when the ledges disappeared. Oh... fun days

Erm,
Is it me, or was you doing some serious spawn camping there ?
Don't get me wrong, great video and congrats on the badge and all that but, most of those kills were people who had JUST respawned at that point.
Just making a point. It wasn't in open fighting, it was running around a spawn point knifing with no attempt to take the flag etc, thats all.

I hear alot of people on this forum say they honor knife fights but when I pull out my knife maybe 1 out of 30 people pulls out ther knife in return. I usually see them get freaked and start aimlessly shooting and hopping around until they can kill me or they try and run away and shoot me from a distance.

I always try to pull my knfie out when someone attacks me with a knife. What usually happens is someone charges, I shoot them with a single bullet, not seeing they have a knife out, then pull my knife out after realising. The person then proceeds to think "I'm not playing", and proceeds to beat me to death with my own helmet.

Meh, most of that video wasn't that great. The black & white bit towards the end was good, but for the rest of it...did they have to park the camera up the guy's backside? Most of the screen was full of the MEC medic...who was spawn camping. Admittedly, the expert knife is pretty hard to get, and you have to do bunnyhop/pronejump exploits, or spawncamp. One of the two.

I think the R2 knife videos are much cooler. :p

Fair enough. Like I said, I wasn't dissin the badge or the work involved to get it.
I didn't realise that you would HAVE TO do something like spawn-camp to get it.
Personally I don't think its worth doing that for a badge. (Hence no gun/knife or explosives badges for me!).

its so the funny the animations. it looks like hes punching them with the knife. and when hes prone u cant see the stabbing motion and the enemies just falll over

I wish i was that good with the knife .... i'm just sh*t. The only way i ever manage to kill anyone is when they are stood still looking somewhere else. I mean don't get me wrong, i love having a proper good old fashioned knife fight, but it doesn't mean i'm good with it!

I'm sh*t with it as well, but I managed basic.

It was Karkand (where else?) and the square was being fiercely fought over. I'd knifed two snipers on buildings already, and decided to go for the badge.

I took the side on approach, through the spawn. I didn't spawnkill, there was no-one there, but they were all facing the other way.

I find that players just become disfunctional bunched up with the enemy at close range because of Team-Killing and I managed to knife 5 of them, clearing the area. Then a spec-ops spawned and shot me in the face as I sprinted towards him.


But I think knifing is all about opportunity and being in the right place at the right time, with the right sort of people on the opposing team.

But I'm not sure you could get expert this way, it's a once a game thing, the USMC took the square because of my actions. Unless we lost it again it couldn't be repeated.

You don't have to prone spam, or bunny hop to knife. and you don't have to spawn-camp (rape) either.

He is quite good with the knife, but weak to do what he did. AND the other team were total noobs. How many times did he go there?. And he surprises nearly every one of them.

I got my expert the hard way. I think I might of done one spawn rape, and even then, I said something first, (like, Thanks!) just to give him a little chance. Not one knife kill was from a bunny hop or a fishy dive.

ya a little camping, but anyone whos killed more than once at a spawn by some guy with a knife is a n00b. Kill me once.. ok u got me. next time you'll meet my gp30.
