    Video Settings Mistake

I just picked up the game and started to mess around with it. Played one game online to check things out then went to options to adjust a few settings. While on the Video Options I accidently selected a Resolution / Refresh rate that is not compatible with my monitor, and it quickly turned my monitor off. Now I try to restart the game and it saved the seetings and I can't find where to change them outside the game. Please any help would be appreciated.

i dont remember how, but somewhere in the files in the C:/ drive, all your fb2 files, is a settings file, find the setting for refresh rate, change it, and save it. ask someone who knows what the file is.

I've had it happen to me and this is what i fixed.

          It is in the

          C:\Documents and Settings\You Login\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\Default

          It's a setting in video.com file

          change the resolution.

          VideoSettings.setResolution 1280x1024@72Hz

This is going to sound pretty noob, but what should I be opening the file with? I was using Notepad and adjusted the settings and saved, started te game ok. Then it selected my account and it resets it back.
