Area outside combate area

How do i set a terrain outside my combat area. My combat area pretty much takes up my whole map but if i fly a jet off the map there is absolutely nothing. How can I set my map to show a terrain outside this, like water.

I would really like to know this too..
Because my map is pretty small, but I would like it to have water outside.

Up in the file menu, you need to go to RENDER/SURROUNDING TERRAIN/SHOW ALL SURROUNDING TERRAIN. From here you can edit the way the terrain looks. Don't Forget to paint it or else it will have a freaky green glow. You can also set it to work on one area at a time like north or south etc.

I havent used the editor to import custom buildings and weapons, but i would like to learn how. Also i have never made nav meshes for single player maps. There ARE tutorials tho guys.

Oh and for the next reply, the editor's daddy is DICE, and what does he do? He works for EA of course. ROFL
