My rank is bugged

I have had every basic badge since 10 days the game came out. When I hit 20,000 points, I never got my promotion to First Sergeant. Anyone know wtf is up with that? Why should I have to wait to get 50,000 points when I have all the requirements for the next rank now?

How long ago was it you hit the 20,000 points?

Edit: by the look of it (28,190 points atm) a long time ago

yeah.... a really long time ago, like october of last year... it just finaly started ****ing me off now lol.

Alright from what i can work out you had all your basic badges back in july, and you obtained 20,000 points back in early october. The problem is that you obtained your basic pistol badge then your vetern pistol badge in the same round, i believe this was a bug that would stop you going to first seargent back around that time last year. You also obtained both badges in the same minute which is strange.

Yeah thats exactly what I thought was wrong as well. I instantly got my veteran badge right after being awarded my basic pistol badge.... do you think if I get my expert pistol badge it will fix this problem?

Thats the problem, for some reason the BF2 stat server didn't register your basic pistol, only your Veteran. This is a known bug that has ****ed off alot of people.

I got my basic and veteran in the same minute, but I still got to first sergeant somehow o_o.
