I met some ultimate noobs today!

I was playing Wake Island 2007. I saw many noobs there.

First there was this guy who was sitting in an airplane at the runway because he didn't know how to go forward with it.

Second I mounted up a copter, some noob was flying it though. It was quite cranky ride and then he went back to the helipad and boom, he didn't know how to slow down and we faced the wall quite soon.

Third I took a copter. Some noob hopped in. We had a dogfight with a Cobra. My second pilot didn't know how to use the TV missiles so he just shot the Cobra with the minigun thingy. So there I was facing the Cobra from the side, we both hovered on the air and we didn't move.

Fourth I destroyed a noob pilot flying F35B two times in a row with J-10. Then he started a kick vote and nearly got me out of the server all because I followed him with an airplane! He told me not to follow him because it was unfair, he only wanted to destroy ground targets.

For crying out loud please read the age recommendations on the boxes!

Considering my teamkills last game (though I don't normally get any), I can't really comment.

But then again, I'm not really responsible for those kills. I mean, I left a claymore on Karkand where the Americans go through the plankboarded bit. The first team damage was from a vehicle the other side of it (I never realised claymores had range like that) and the second crawled behind the claymore...then on top of it.

I also experimented with C4ing the backs of the walls on the first MEC spawn, but I blew up a friendly when we lost the flag (I didn't think he was close enough, looking at his little map blip).


Still, I don't think I'm as bad as people who put C4 somewhere, and then detonate it when someone crosses it. Can't they see it's a friendly they're blowing up!? And there isn't an enemy in sight.

I was flying in the Havoc with a guy earlier, and he crashed about five times with me in it.

He said he was getting the hang of it, and I said "No worries".

I remember once I drove with a team mate into the sea with a jeep.

Was embarassing.

We should give noobs like me a break, but some things are so stupid the word 'noob' doesn't do it justice.

Not as much as if someone detonates C4 when you run past it, and there are no enemies nearby.

Some of those could have been due to lag.

But god I hate it when you set people up for TV shots and they either do nothing or give away your position by shooting at it with the machine guns.

Very true, but do n00bs have to occupy ranked servers etc. without first practicing on their own!
Most of the vehicles in the game exist in single player modes aswell - have fun!
Sometimes peace can only be bought about by War!
