Yesterday a friend of mine awoke to find that he had unknowingly unlocked every major weapon that was possible. He had just crossed the 12500 global point mark and had quit for the night. He got up the next day and started up BF2 and was pleasantly surprised to find that he had 5 unlocks including SCAR-L and G36E, i repeat 5!!!, awaiting his chosing the next morning. Has this happened to anyone else? and why can't it happen to me, haha.

I got two free unlocks, as did many others, recently because of some EA pre-patch deal, but my friend hasn't. He only just started playing though so maybe you have to reach a certain point first. I didn't get any unlocks that I'm aware of when I installed SF but *shrug*
Anyway, new unlocks are cool and everything, and are fun to earn, but skill beats a slightly better weapon any day. I say that because even with the unlocks I still suck =PComment
