I already have the driver installed....it worked awhile with bf2 and now it isnt working! my computer is detecting it under the configuration screen but it doesnt work in the game...anyone know how to fix?

yea its called play the real way and use a keyboard and mouse.it makes the game more challenging and thats y its a computer game

i think its a lil more challenging to get used to tho and thats y people use them controllers. plus i also think that it makes the game funner to use the keyboard and mouse

Why the hell would you spend 40 bucks on a controller for a pc, when keyboard, mouse and joystick are far superior and more flexible?

@OP: try deleting your controls.con file or using the 'Reset to Defaults' option and try configuring it again. If you have new/other USB devices attached, detach any unneeded USB device prior to playing Bf2.

I was thinking of getting an xbox controller too for flying and emulation games and stuff. And when my brother eventually gets an xbox 360, which i know he will, i'll be able to use it on that too.

Nothing is easier than pointing and clicking with a mouse. However, people do have their preferences....

The mouse is mightier than the controller.

I grew used to one when my computer couldn't run new releases, but when I bought a new one it was like coming home. Those controllers are fiddly b@stards and let you down when you need them most.
