Hey, I was wondering, whenever I get a point in battlefield 2, is that point immediately added to my global score? Or is it when I log out, disconnect from server etc..? Because I was wondering if I quit directly from a game then I could be losing all the points I had gained?

I think sometimes it gives you the points. But its best to wait till the end of the round.

I think after 5 mins in server it will save your score and upload at the end of round, read it here somewhere.

You never lose points unless the server crashes, and even then stats can recovered in time. All points you earn are sent off to the stats server at the end of each round.

But at the moment they don't seem to be updating. I think they will in time though.

You'd think they'd have to be updating almost constatly since you gain a rank within the round, rather than at the end of the round.

So, if I have a 100 points, but I quit before round ends, then them points are lost? I have to wait until round finishes?

Oh and btw wtf, no stats are updating at all? :/

You get them once the round ends and the stats server updates.

For clarification, you do not need to be there for the end of the round in order to earn your points. All actions taken during a round are sent to the master stat server by the ranked server, regardless of wheter or not the player is still in-game.

You can see this if you leave a game, and then return before the round ends. The server will correctly award you the exact same score you had prior to leaving.

What the hell. I just logged in, my score last night was 4377, and I have played at least 8 hours since, now my score has been "updated", and its 4386?

the manual says you dont get your stats unless you finish a round....so i just always stick it out the whole round just in case.
