Does anyone else absolutely love this gun? The MP7 makes the engineer class MUCH more useful. I never used to play engie beacuse they were so useless at long ranges, but the MP7 totally fixes that. It seems a lot more accurate than the other SMG's, and also has minimal recoil. I've found that my K/D ratio is around 2:1 with this gun, whereas it is around 1:1 with any other weapon.

Yes, I love this gun! It's very accurate and has a very high rate of fire. I was using the Jackhammer for a long time, but now I like the MP-7 a lot more. -

Ya man, that gun is wicked, i got it with those 2 unlocks and tried it out in a karkand map and i pretty well owned with it. One thing you have to pay attention to the most is that you have a support guy in your squad or neer by because that gun just unloads bullets like there was no tommorow. That gun just made engi my 3rd favorite class.Comment

Just unloads some mean stuff fast and is accurate!!
So expect the engineer class to be used by only commanders very soon again.Comment

In order to unlock the MP7, the **** jackhammer must be unlocked first....
I am not going to waste 2 unlock on 1 item....I rather have the awp and P90 unlocked.Comment

Depends on the map. Urban stuff like Karkand - the Jackhammer owns the alleys. More wide open stuff, the MP7 is preferred - it's an accurate, ranged weapon.Comment

Ya, its fun, I actually can get a lot of kills with it. I love its low recoil, extremely high ROF, its scope, and most of all, its sound. Even better, it also comes with the Jackhammer! As for the 1.2 patch, I think I'm more excited about the new P90 unlock than disappointed to see the MP7 nerfed. Anyway, I didn't really see a problem at all with the MP7, it was not at all unbalanced (there was always a gun better at any ranges), I saw very few people using it, and I had tons of fun with it.Comment

I love the mp7, just the lack of ammo in one clip is a pain in the arse :P. Jackhammer is great too, i thought it would be ****e until i unlocked it, after using it a while i actually prefer it to the dao.Comment

If the Engineer kit could have a grapple hook I'd use it alot more. At the moment it's the most under-equipped class, especially in SF.Comment

Just luv the gun. Got my basic engineer combat badge mainly because of this weapon. It`s accurate and has a high RoF. Better than Jackhammer. My opinnion, that is.Comment

Omg. I can't believe this thread! Are we really talking about the MP7? I absolutely hate this gun. I mop up everything with the MK3A1, and anything beyond that distance just plain sucks with the MP7. Also, I can't believe they're nerfing it either because it's useless as it is.
A gun is a gun and maybe you guys just happen to like it, but it's not practical at all. The engy deserves a much better ranged weapon. If you can even call the MP7 'ranged'.
