Your view on Team Stacking...

Just wondering as I have been on a few servers today where Autobalance was off.
It wouldn't annoy me much but today, today was pathetic. I was playing Strike of Karkand where I and two others were on MEC. The rest, as you can guess, were on US, all 10 of them!! And the match had started!!!

Now, back in the BF'42 days, if this happened then Autobalance, if not on already, would kick in......

So why not implement a rule regarding this.......Because, this is just getting pathetic. It's no fun when you are constantly killed by bunny hoppers with their GLs from only 2m away, even more when you're outnumbered 3 to 1.

Can you do summit about that in the ROE? Or EA say it must be on?!?

Leave the server if you don't like it. If everyone is on one team they are not going to get many points and there'll be more loading time than playing time.

Yea, I hate that, too. But what I hate even more is when autobalance is on and your team doesn't get the better players on the opposing team. I mean, giving the losing team a guy on the other team who's doing "decent" but not really well doesn't help the losing team all that much. It's better to give the losing team the guy or a couple of guys who are ranked at the top. Not too many though... don't want it to get unbalanced again :p

Yeah, but these people obviously can't see that MEC can win too, as I have done a good few times too

It's fun playing the MEC on Karkand.... you just have to have a good team effort. My friends and I played the other night. We led an attack up that right hill on the map... the one where the USMC players normally don't protect. We worked our way up there - I was support sniping with my m95, my friends with their AR's for CQC... it was a thing of beauty indeed. We held off the USMC, made our way to the UAV trailer, blew it up, and managed to hold that part of the map for a while. Of course... while we had succeeded in what we set out to do, the rest of our team got pushed back, relinquishing control of the hotel, square, suburbs, and train accident to the USMC. Needless to say... we still lost. But it was fun.. and a close game IIRC.

It's not just karkand, it's every map, all the noobs switch to US./ Must think they're better or something.

yeah that happened to me last night, everyone got on USMC, but the MEC did win, after people balanced out the teams a little.

Being MEC on Karkand sucks unless you have a good team, in which case I find it more fun than being on USMC. And hey, if you're outnumbered 3 to 1, that's just more people for you to kill But if I'm in a situation where I'm not having a good time, I find somewhere else.

Play on a official EA server, this pretty much never happens and the teams are usually even.

I personally think that in 16 and 64 players maps (karkand) MEC got an advantage.

I find that usmc has the advantage on Kark. Once they go around the first flag that becomes a death trap and cap a flag or two (to stop ticket drain), they usually win. Of course # skilled players matters, but usually it is about even.

As much as I like auto-balance, I dislike it when the server makes it so you're stuck on one side (even if it switches your side per game). When playing with friends, we'd get stuck on different teams. We can't switch to one team so we can play as a squad. So we go off and find another server.
