It's a trick, also know as "Death from Above", "Transforming transport choppers into Attack choppers", and so on. It consists in use the chopper to drop C4's.
Since the Blackhawk is the vehicle of choice for fraggers and noobs, usually the Mi-17 will be forgotten and empty. In my opinion the Mi-17 is easier to maneuver than the BH, so this can be an advantage.
First, you will need a good pilot that can chase an enemy and hover precisely above the target, an engineer to fix the helo, a support guy since you will need a lot of C4's, 2 or 3 Spec Ops and maybe a Medic to prolongue the life expectancy of all passengers. So, ideally the postions:
1. Pilot - Medic
2. Support
3. -
4. Engineer
5. Spec Ops
6. Spec Ops
The pilot will get a lot of points, for healing, driver kill assists and driver special ability points. Since the "gunner" is almost useless, it may be filled by a support guy that will also get a lot of resupply points. He can also spot targets. An engineer in a backseat will be needed to keep the chopper healthy and flying.
The Spec ops will be responsible for all the killing; and a seat may be left empty so people can use the helo as spawn point as well. For a best view of the area, everyone should change the camera to a 3rd person view.
The spec ops should drop the C4's considering the chopper's/enemy's speed and direction fo movement, and blow them when you and your team mates are out of its blast radius (10 mts.)...
Tips:
1. For a best performance, everyone in the helo form a squad. It's easier to use the VoIP than type.
2. Be very careful with your team mates (in the chopper and on the ground) or you may end with a negative score.
3. Be sure that if you kill your teammates by accident they won't punish you. I mean, better do this with friends.
4. If you drop a C4 next to a group of friends, just drop some more elsewhere and the "older" C4s will disappear.
Conclusion: This is a nice tactic, that can effectively take down enemy infantry, vehicles, armor and choppers.

Have fun
