[Help] Bf2 freezing

hey, when ever i join multi player games, my comp freezes right after the maps done laoding and where u choose when to spawn.

This is a brand new comp with the following specs

6800 gs
amd 3200
1.5 gigs ram

i havnt updated the video card yet but still.....

i even tr'd setting it to the lowest possiblr settings, the same result still appeared.....'



any help

first off all system drivers since it's a brand new comp... for motherboard and videocard.. than we'll see

It it actually freezing in that you cannot alt-tab, control-alt-delete, or do ANYTHING and must reboot your machine?

Or is it just freezing as in , you cannot move the mouse or issue any keyboard commands to the game but can otherwise hear audio in the game and use your computer?

If so, go to the controller config screen and hit 'Reset to Defaults' and hit 'Apply'.

game completely freezes. as well as the omp

first off all system drivers since it's a brand new comp... for motherboard and videocard.. than we'll see

k i installed all the drivers, not sure if their are any update drivers for the motherbard, but i dled the latest beta version for nvidia.

it still freezes
