im sposed to be first sargeant now i have all the badges needed and over 20,000 points yet i logging in and out shoot some people and nothing im still

PLay until end of round when you get your promotion. End of round and you are already loading up the next map. Quit, if that doesn't do it then reboot BF2 after the round. Works all the time.
I think EA are up to something again, stats havent been counting for most of the day. Just going to have to wait it out untill they start updating again.
No. If you do a search, maybe here or on another forum, you will find that you have to get all your badges required for first Sgt. before 20,000 points. If you get them after you wont get first Sgt. You will simply skip over it, to the next rank. About the points updateing, I wouldnt worry. When you play on some servers it takes almost 24 hours for those points to make it into your global score. (EA has an old guy (Earl) in the basement that does all that score updateing work. He does it for all 1.5 million active players. Hell get around to it sooner or later.) Lol. . . . . .Red
i suppose it has something to do with the recent account server testing/upgrading (whatever), i just turned Sgt.Major pointwise, but didnt get my actual promotion in 3 days.
I was promoted to Corpral a day ago and have played a lot of hours since then. In my stats it says my score hasn't gone up from 815, but still says I'm lance corpral. In games i am a corpral though. :/
ahhhh... 815 points... if i don't get that in 1 night.. .i am either drunk, or sick... or both... lol, not cracking on you.... cause we have all be at that level.. however, when i was at 815 points... i was still a buck private.... :) lol i can't wait for the new patch to come out.... cause people will have to learn to shoot :) then i will get WAY more pistol kills :), less noob tubers.... => more pistols kills for recon.

Same thing here. I played for about 5 hours last night and ended at about 1am EST without knowing my current GS because BFHQ hadn't updated. When I checked at about 7am EST BFHQ was reflecting last nights points. Now I awaiting my 1st SGT and its been 4 hours or so with no change to the points I got this morning. Weird, but no big deal.
