    Rotating Lag

Hello, I am experiencing lag sorta when i rotate in game. For example if i hear gunfire behind me and spin around too fast the screen gets hung up. Rotating the tank turret is the worst.

The wierd thing is the game was working just perfectly a week ago, before i moved, at my brother house with my same cpu and mouse and a higher ping.

Didnt name specs cause it was working fine a week ago.

Hmmm, my ping, when Battlefield 2 was working just fine, was around 100+ sometimes. My ping now is usually below 50. To add to that I played singleplayer and still had the lag.

I am wondering if my mouse was maybe damaged during the move. I pray my computer wasnt.

I dont know why but I get these problems too....and my pings are around 15ish to 30ish....I thought it would spike up to the hundreds but its in the low double digits. My specs are:

          AMD 3500+
          Corsair XMS 2GB
          Geforce 7800GT (forceware 81.98)

            Hello

I'm unsure of your system specs, but I have experienced the same movement/rotation lag or jitter you are describing.

I was pulling my hair out over this issue. Recently made the switch from Win2k Pro to XP pro, and for the life of me couldn;t resolve the issue.

Ended up uninstalling all drivers, reinstalling as per www.tweakguides.com system optimization guide. Reducing my mouse speed and mouse accel.

As I do not know you're system specs, I can't make any correlations between drivers, mobo, vid card, game settings etc.

I'm quite certain my problems were/are input related, maybe even linked to audio which is onboard on my setup. So far, I've smoothed it out with reinstalling the drivers, and adjusting mouse speed. REALLY frustrating though.

Give us some system specs please!

Thank you for the replys. I found out what it was. My computer desk is too glossy for the mouse to pic up quck movements. Dont know why i didnt think of it.

              Thanks again anyway
