I was playing Karkand today and finally got my explosives badge. I played for a couple of more minutes and had to quit to go get my kids from school. My question is this: if you leave before the round is finished, do you lose your badge? It isn't showing up on my stats yet.

Negatory. If you spend at least 5 minutes in a server, your stats still count. If you were playing for at least 5 minutes and got your badge, it will show up in your BFHQ later. See below.Originally posted by xXx-Arc_Angel-xXx

It takes time for the server to end the round its on, pull in the stats, and send them on their merry way to EA. From there it'll be pulled down by the stats sites...and from what I've seen, certain sites are quicker to pull info than others.
If you dont have the badge 1-2 days later, then yeah, something was awry.Comment

Wow, there are mixed opinions here. As far as I know...
You do not need to be there for the end of the round in order to earn your points or awards. All actions taken during a round are sent to the master stat server by the ranked server, regardless of wheter or not the player is still in-game.
You can see this if you leave a game, and then return before the round ends. The server will correctly award you the exact same score you had prior to leaving.
Also, the awards, the unlocks, and your stats are run by three different databases. Just because one updates, doesn't mean that either of the other two will. For you, the awards databse must just be lagged a bit more.
