How do i install BF2 on 2nd H/D ?

I have 2 hard drives identical, one has xp on the other is empty but formatted.

I want to install bf2 alone on this spare hard drive.

When i go to install and show bf2 the spare drive to install to it says "the directory you have selected is unsafe please select another".

Any help please ?

What format is the other disk in?

BF2 probably requires NTFS, so if youve formatted in FAT 16/32 it may not work.

Also, make sure if the drive IS NTFS, that it isnt write protected or anything.
