Ahh..one more reason why ET still is better than BF2.
You can tap out of wounded status with a click of a button and wait for spawn.

lmao ET is nothing like BF2. I quit playing ET because it's retarded playing a game where all the objectives are location based and field ops are spamming the artillery on it non-stop. Gold Rush is the worst, since people just spam like 2 artilleries on the courtyard.

Between artillery and the panzerfaust (which makes the F2000 GL look like a firecracker), that game just blows.


ANYWAY, as for this stupid medic, I've been in that situation before, as the medic. Just make sure you start moving as soon as you get revived, the idea is that even if you're gonna get killed like 20 times, you'll make it out alive, just don't be a dumbass and sit there taking the shots!

You can ALWAYS move out of the way, I've had people pinned down by Vodniks able to squirm away back into cover.

Sometimes it sucks. Another story: I was assaulting karkand in my LAV.
It was nearly blown up, i hopped out to repair it but then it blew up.
I survived but got killed on foot 5 seconds later. Two seconds before spawn -ZAPP- i got revived, another player spawned at our main and took the LAV. That sucked.

I wish there was an option "skip mandown state" to choose in the menu where you can skip the votes too. Or better: A function to skip the mandown state manually by pressing the right mouse button (left is still yelling MEDIC!) or opening the spawn screen..

Nono dont get me wrong. Im not an APC whore or whatever, im an infantry guy.
This happened a week ago, i was hunting for some more points to get my 1st sgt rank :p

Suck it up. What's the prob? Your K/D ratio? Your impatience (wanting to respawn somewhere else and fight). What's the big deal? It's happened to me. I usually appreciate the medics effort.

Playing on a game yesterday in the middle of a massive fire fight and i got killed exposed in the middle of the line of fire. a medic just around the side of the building rezed me 12 times in 45 sec so that i could ide over and over again as i could not even move before another bullet was in me. finnaly i was able to back out after spaming DONT HEAL ME for the last 11 rezs and shot him and get the 'youve been punished' message. there oughta be a way to keep from being healed without permission. like a popup thats askes you if you want to be.

How is that that you keep getting killed, AND HE DOES NOT ???

On top of it you tked him... LOL

Happens all the time on a 64 Player Karkand and thats why so many people are eager in a don't revive. I hate it when you die and are about to spawn on your SL whos capping a flag when you get revived...

Every time you get killed it will cost your team a ticket

If you ask me, the problem is not with the medics, but rather with you, especially since you're complaining about it.

VERY rarely does a revive make you die instantaneously. Usually the reason you are dying shortly after being revived is because lack of action from your part.

If you see a medic revive you, GET READY TO MOVE. Getting revived, and sitting there for a second just begs the enemy to kill you once again. If you got up and sprinted away, chances are you would survive.

Or think about it differently. If you are being killed by a tank, than chances are the medic is doing his job. A medic can do NOTHING to a tank. If I'm a medic, and a tank just took down an AT/SpecOps player, I know that reviving them is probably our only chance to take our tank down. I am willing to sacrifice my own life in hopes that I can revive this downed player, in the hopes that they will take down the threat. Instead, medics just get a bunch of people whining and complaining.

All in all, is it REALLY THAT BAD? You don't get a death count for it. Your team doesn't lose a ticket for it. You don't lose any points for it. You get no sort of penalty for it whatsoever. Additionally, you are sitting down to play BF2, which probably means you have some free time. Or you are procrastinating. Either way, you are planning to spend some time in this game. Usually this is an hour, if not more. Is 10-ish seconds more of staring at the sky really going to change everything? Even if someone revives you TEN times, that's barely over a minute of the sky.

Why are you letting something so small, and so insignificant, annoy you so much? Why are you letting a GAME get the better of your attitutude? Stop playing, and think about it before you start playing again, perhaps you should find some alternate method of entertainment.

well from most of the responses this thread should be renamed to "Stupid revived players" hehe

The most stupid player i kept reviving was on wake...i was at the north flag holding the flag white behind a building, with an enemy tank at at the flag. One other guy from my team comes towards me and out into the open infront of the tank (even though i had spotted the tank). The tank mows him down so i run out and revive him and run back into cover.....the guy stays on he floor crawling...he gets killed again by the tank so i save him again...but he keeps crawling around on the floor....i keep running out to save him more and more but this guy just keeps crawling around at a slow pace in circles looking like some drunken slug.....i was laughing so much :) I even made a trail of heath packs for mr slug to follow into cover but that didn't help him lol

Im sorry I am ussually really nice..BUT YOU MAKE ME SICK! I am not gonna go into your post like the other guys cause they are all right..You are in the wrong..And if you did that to me you would pay..I am a medic a lot and if I revive you run...Learn how to play or don't play at all! Or heck don't learn how to play but don't TK people who do..And stay off my team!

I have no problem with the medics whithin an infantry fight.
Makes it last longer and thats good for me because i love infantry since DICE stole my DC AH64A :cry:

And the poor medics cant know you dont want to be revived, how could they?

But please DICE, give the players the ability to choose if they wanna be revived or not
